grcossie
Rs500 is the thing to go for yes. A friend of mine now Walter too, he bought the 3 last wolf Escort wings from him, some years ago. They make some great stuff. Why do you prefer lhd cars then?? We all do it here hehe, when we get some rhd cars in at my work, it`s easy to go in the wrong door, and when you drive it, you would change gear whit the door handle, it`s a shit hehe. Keep the Wolf and buy an Rs500, the only right thing for you

Keep the Wolf and buy an Rs500, the only right thing for you i watched the best drivers in the world drive escort cosworths and they were all left hand drive every one of them. you watch now all the wrc cars even driven by british and they are left hand drive. i have had left hand drive ford rs's a long time and thats the way it is with me,my first car was a german left hand drive mk2 escort rs2000 1977 and i drove that no problem at all so now i only drive lhd cosworths . i have a mitsubushi evolution and tbh i don't want 3 high performance cars again,i did have a evo 7 and evo 8 and the wolf escort and its too much worry. so even if i sell the escort i still have a evo,if i sold the evo and escort i would get a lhd escort cosworth group a rally car, they have shot up in value very high now. try finding a ex works escort for less than £50.000 gbp if there is anyone interested in buying my car i have some special information about my car but only if your buying it
grcossie
Yes i see most of the rally Fords are lhd, i have a big wall paper of Martin Schanche mk2 rallycross, in the late 70` It was rhd cars for him then.I have a nice picture from Birger Gundersen shell helix grpA Escort, in jumping action, yellow and red. This car is still alive here.I love Evo`s but it wouldn`t be wrong to have your Wolf either
cozzfather
matey i have seen birger gundsen with my very own eyes in the british forests very close to where i live say 40 km's away.he was a very fast driver in toyota team europe celica gt4's. yes your right mr rallycross drove a rhd mk2 and a mk3 but that was in the very old days when lots of drivers drove rhd mk2.after them he drove left hand drive rs like i do lol.ari vatanen drove british prepared mk2 escorts and they were left hand drive,i saw them rs1800 cars as a small boy in chester which is where i'm from........................... see i saw left hand drive cars then and liked them its things like that when your small and think yeah thats cool and now i have left hand drive escort cosworth like what ari drove and many other top drivers.the other thing is my car is unique in the UK, nobody got a escort like this so its good to be different. cheeRS. grcossie
You was early on specific car interest then hehe. Pretty sure yours is one that caliber lhd car in England yes, i have seen some others lhd escos, for sale there before, of course the price goes down on lhd cars in Englan, the same as rhd cars here, so export is the way to get your money. cozzfather
yes i have seen left hand drive escorts over here and being honest they don't seem vry good if cheap,i saw one at ford fair that had every known paint finish known to man on the car,all the panel gaps were bad and you could see body filler all over. i do see rhd ones that are in poor shape too for sale that are about the money i want for mine, its a case of looking hard plus many have high number of owners and that shows in the condition usually. put it this way.................................... if theres any genuine interest with my car i will do this,if a cosworth specialist in the uk you know or trust and you want them to look at the car and report to you thats ok. i can't say fairer than that. i live 40 km's away from the registrar for the ford rs owners club,i can let him look it over as he is the valuer for the rsoc. you will never find better escort cosworths than in the ford rs owners club so theres your chance for piece of mind he uses www.escortRSCosworth.com like i do so you can find him there. cozzfather
Hi every now and then people contact me asking about this car, well its not for sale as this original advert was posted 2 years ago when it was for sale and people see the very low price i would of took for a quick sale as i knew where there was another Cosworth for sale ,that car is now long gone and probably worth double what i saw it for sale for now anyway hahah.please understand this car is not really forsale unless i get a sensible offer, anything much less than £14500 is not worth it for me to sell as i couldn't replace it for a loaded up Wolf for that price from holland of germany where Wolfs seem the only place you find them apart from Norway.Hope this is clear and regards ferries out of the Uk i think you can get one from uk to Denmark now and either drive through Denmark or another boat to Norway. CheeRS Karl..................... one other thing the car now has a pair of genuine ford hockey sticks and genuine ford amber indicators front and side as them clears were annoying me and so unfashionable nowadays
JHS
Stenger denne tråden nå. Om noen er seriøst interessert så tar han altå i mot fornuftige bud over £14500, alt under det er uinteressant.
